Darren and Anissa have known each other since before either of them could fill a pair of cowboy boots, but since their families ' ranches have been rivals for decades, they've never gotten to see each other for more than their last name.
But when a night of horse races and festivities lands the two smack dab in front of each other, they spark a passion that can't be ignored. But will their spark be enough to burn away decades of rivalry?

Our first collaboration with Kilgore Studios and Bad Dad Productions, LLC is a beautiful depiction of Black love, told through the depiction of a modern-day Romeo and Juliet. Co-lead by stars Jemarcus Kilgore and Mona Swain, Darren & Anissa is a project not to be missed. This proof of concept will be used to pitch a greater feature film concept after completing the post-production process.
